	BIOGRAPHY Mike Welsh Mike Welsh spent the last twenty years managing a successful business, volunteering in the community, and helping to raise his family in Allentown. Now he is prepared to use this broad experience to represent Allentown’s interests in Harrisburg as the next State Representative from the 132nd Legislative District. After receiving a degree in Business Management from DeSales University in 1985, Mike became a business representative for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. During his twenty plus years in the insurance business, Mike earned a reputation of integrity and service to his clients. He developed close relationships with hundreds of families in our community, sharing in their dreams, and helping them plan for life’s challenges. Mike has always given his time to support many volunteer activities in the community and in his church. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Cathedral Choir of St. Catharine of Siena, and is President of the Men of the Cathedral. Mike has coached youth soccer teams, served as a leader of the Indian Princesses, and is a long-time volunteer at his children’s schools. An avid fisherman, Mike also enjoys golf and spending time with his family. Mike serves as a Republican Committeeman in Allentown. As a fiscal conservative who believes in traditional family values, Mike launched his campaign for state representative to focus on the issues of crime, economic development, government reform, and supporting community programs for the youth of our city. Mike and his wife Nancy, a teacher in Allentown, have been married for twenty years. They live in Allentown with their three children.
