Mike Welsh spent the last twenty years managing a successful business, volunteering in the community, and helping to raise his family in Allentown. Now he is prepared to use this broad experience to represent Allentown’s interests in Harrisburg as the next State Representative from the 132nd Legislative District.

After receiving a degree in Business Management from DeSales University in 1985, Mike became a business representative for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. During his twenty plus years in the insurance business, Mike earned a reputation of integrity and service to his clients.

Welsh Announces Campaign for State Representative

Priorities are Government Reform, Fighting Crime, Property Tax Relief, and Promoting Economic Opportunity in Allentown

Vowing to push for serious legislative reforms and put Allentown's interests first, Mike Welsh launched his campaign to become the next State Representative from the 132nd Legislative District.

"The public sent a clear message in the last election that it wants an end to business as usual in Harrisburg, but the General Assembly's record on adopting true governmental reform has been disappointing,” Welsh said.
